SOL ÂME

COMPOSER PERFORMER

At the very beginning, Solène wrote. She deals with her travel experiences, poetry, stories of her dreams and the encounters she has made. After her meeting with Mahdi Série, slammer, in 2017 she began researching sound, composition, and began an artistic process. She composes to find the music that sticks to her lyrics.

These first songs took place in 2018 in her first musical project, her composition duo Sol & Zo, a folk pop stroll. At the same time, she became a singer in two other retro-guinguette projects, Le P'tit orchestre de Saint Cyprien, and the accordion voice duo, Le Choeur en fête. However, these musical styles do not allow her to express all the atmosphere and depth that she wishes to share: oriental scales, a singular vocal identity, current subjects with French lyrics, soaring atmospheres that tend towards trance, slower rhythms in 6 to 10 minute tracks that immerse in listening. This artistic universe is now carried by Sol Âme .
