The Company

Once upon a time...

Le Phénix Bleu was founded in 2006 with the ambition of creating a festival to fight against AIDS. Its actors prepared for the stage, in 2007, The Girl and the Round, an adaptation of Arthur Schnitzler's play written and directed by Sei Shiomi.

For the 2008-2009 season, the company presented L'enfant et l'homme by Véronique Wüthrich, which premiered at La Reine Blanche, then at Passage vers les Etoiles and ended its tour in Toronto. Then in 2010-2011, La vie exemplaire de  Paméla Pichon au pays des hommes droits  is created by Charline Régnier and Cécile Lecomte, an acid comedy on consumers society.

From 2012 to 2016, Le Phenix Bleu accompanied the comedy Chéri, Must We Speak, written and performed by Guillaume Renoult which still tours throughout France.

Le Phénix Bleu trains actors through approach, advanced training and training courses. It also runs theater workshops at primary school - Gpe scolaire Simon Bolivar in Paris 19th, with institutions such as La Villette, or within the Compagnie Maya, at the Théâtre du Temps.

In 2019, Le Phenix Bleu produced in partnership with the Labo du 7 two films Alternative and Coconut yogurts, directed by Maïlis Jeunesse, screened at the Clermont Ferrand 2020 Film Market.

In 2020, Le Phénix Bleu will resume creation with AdaMaR, a scenic duo which revisits the history of the first ever written line of computer code, to provide mediation on the orientation choices around mathematics for girls and boys between 9 and 13 years old. Kass'roll was also shot and produced, a short comedy about contractions, during Labour.

In 2021, the company is preparing the shooting of a short film and the development of a feature film for 2022.
